Some of you probably saw this headband on facebook.. I got it at The Shops Above Memory Lane as a little early bday gift to me/myself/I .. and I tell you what! Everyone LOVES it.. people have come across the room to tell me how much they adore it, in fact!

Until this week, we still hadn't gotten anything hung on the walls in our bedroom. So. For a first gift from Stevie, he hung these three gorgeous pics from a shoot we did with his friend Dianna last spring. Check out her pics/blog here. And if you follow this link, there are actually a few pics of Stevie and I featured from last year's shoot. Can't wait to take some more pics with Dianna... she's great!

Anyway, the pics are up in our room.. and I must say, they are perfect there.. They lived in the dining area at our old place. This is so much better!

I had purchased a groupon to Limestone Grille in Boerne, Tx. (with a coupon from groupon.com) that actually ended up costing me no more than the gas for Stevie and I to drive there. Amazing. Above is a pic of the appetizer bread and this amazing cheese spread.. it was a miracle that I was able to show any type of self-constraint! ;)

This pic is my entree.. The yellow fin tuna stack with some crazy cool spinach (can't remember exactly how they said it was prepared, but I had never had anything quite like it) and cous cous. Amazing. Paired it with a Torrentes (Argentine white wine).. really and truly you should eat here next time you're wandering through the Texas Hill Country. You won't be disappointed!

I had prayed for a sunny day for my birthday. Even though we live in Texas and get lots of sunshine, February is a gray month historically. And I am here to tell you that I did not see one. single. cloud. the. entire. day.

Amazing. Thank you. Lord, you didn't have to do that, and maybe it was for reasons other than my little prayer.. but I thank you nonetheless.. it made my day & warmed

my body and soul!
