Re-entering the atmosphere

It's hot. Really hot.

Central Texas is always that way in the summer... it's as sure a thing as oxygen being necessary for breathing. All but one summer of my life has been in Texas & you start easing into summer in April. Temperatures here are not gentle. And AC is not optional.. it's necessary for survival.

So, being in Europe for the last 3 weeks was a dream come true on many levels. ;) The warmest temp we encountered was bout 82... EIGHTY. TWO. Crazy... oh for it to feel good standing in the sunshine again!! Insert dramatic pose here..

Anyway. We are home, and I must say - missing my annual easing into the temps of summer kinda screwed me up! Don't get me wrong- the temp here is pretty miserable no matter how you look at it.. but jumping 20 degrees in 24 hours makes it seem that much worse. Ok! Glad I got that little rant out of the way. Thanks for listening...
